The founder of StudyMind
The joker. That’s what I call my nervousness. He enjoys showing up in situations where I have to present in front of other people. He rumbles inside my body and attempts to trick me into thinking that I cannot excel.
The little troll is a self-chosen image of my nervousness – he has straight hair, wears polka dotted pants and is a little hard to take seriously.
I have learned to accept him, but I don’t give him attention anymore. In doing so, he doesn’t disturb my focus and I can present everything I have prepared. It is comparable to being at a party with someone you don’t like. The joker may be there, but I’m dancing and talking with the others at the party.
Most people, maybe all of us, have a personal joker in our thoughts when we need to perform in situations that are important to us – and that can potentially open or close doors in our lives. It creates a tension in one’s body, which is completely normal. But it must not stand in the way of you achieving the results you dream of. That’s why I founded StudyMind.
In our apps, I have gathered the best methods to strengthen your mindset and train your presentations, so you are both mentally and professionally ready for your next presentation. You grow from every successful experience you have.
StudyMind is built on evidence-based theory and methods as well as many years of personal and practical experience. I have digitalized it so everyone can participate and train their challenges – from butterflies in the stomach to straightforward anxiety. You have to acknowledge the nervousness, but you do not have to invite it to dance with you.
I look forward to helping you strengthen your focus and your professionalism, so you can achieve the results you dream of.
